Privacy and cookies
How MYM Container uses information when you request a price, arrange container transport or use the customer portal.
1. Who is responsible?

2. Information and purposes
We process business and contact details, correspondence, collection/delivery addresses, container references, transport documents, quotes, bookings and invoices to answer requests and organise transport. Contact data may also be provided by your employer or another party to the transport. Technical logs, session data and access records support operation, security and troubleshooting. Only provide documents and personal information needed for the transport.
3. Legal bases
Requests and transport administration are processed to take contractual steps or perform a contract. For business contacts acting for a company, coordination and service security also serve our legitimate interests in providing a reliable transport service. Legal obligations apply to financial records. Optional analytics and advertising cookies depend on consent; you may withdraw that choice. The calculator computes prices automatically from your route and options. Online quote acceptance and booking data are processed by software; transport execution also requires operational checks and release documents. Contact us to request a human review of a price or booking decision.
4. Who receives information?
Relevant transport information is shared with the carriers, terminals, depots and other operational parties needed for your request. Hosting, document storage, email, routing and business software providers process data to deliver these services. Authorised staff and software-assisted support may use relevant correspondence and documents to handle requests. Google provides location/routing services and, on public pages, Analytics and Ads measurement. Authorities and professional advisers receive information where legally required or necessary for a claim.
5. Cookies, measurement and your choice
Essential session and security storage supports the service. Browser storage also remembers language, a saved quote and your cookie choice. Accept enables optional Google analytics and advertising storage; Decline keeps that storage denied. With denied consent, Google can still receive limited cookieless measurement signals, including technical request data and consent state. Declining therefore does not mean no connection to Google. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent; earlier lawful processing is unaffected. Private Admin and customer portal routes are excluded from Google measurement. We mask quote/status tokens in measurement page addresses; quote and booking event identifiers are used to avoid duplicate conversions.
6. International services
Some service providers, including Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google describes its use of adequacy frameworks and contractual safeguards in its transfer information linked below. Contact us for the recipients and applicable safeguards for your particular transport or account; an international transport may itself require sharing data with parties at the destination.
7. How long?
Retention depends on the purpose: the time needed to deal with a request, perform and administer transport, maintain account security, or resolve a dispute or claim. Financial records are subject to statutory retention obligations, generally seven years for Dutch basic business records. This does not mean every enquiry or uploaded document must be kept for seven years. Contact us for the retention period or deletion of a specific record; legal duties or an unresolved claim may prevent immediate deletion. GA4 settings verified on 2026-09-30 retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data period reset on new user activity. These retention periods do not affect standard aggregated reports.
8. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or, where applicable, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to sales@mymcontainer.com; we may need proportionate identity verification. You can complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local supervisory authority. Contact and transport details are necessary to process a booking; without essential details we cannot confirm or perform it. Changes to this notice are published here with their date.
